Dr. Fjeld has practiced small animal medicine since graduating from WSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. She has extensive experience in soft tissue surgery (with a special interest in wound repair and mass removals), emergency and critical care, dentistry and palliative care. She is certified in Veterinary Acupuncture and enjoys incorporating this with western medicine to provide healing, pain relief and vitality for her patients.
She respects a team approach with pet owners and veterinary staff in the common goal of improving the pets’ health and wellbeing.
She enjoys spending time with her family (which includes her partner Mike, three sons and a sassy Chihuahua named Miss Taffy). She finds creative outlets through fiber arts, pysanky and writing; and is continually trying to improve her golf game and culinary skills.
