Kellie Bartlett, Licensed Veterinary Technician
& Small Animal Massage Practitioner (SAMP)

Kellie joined the Advanced Care staff in March 2006.  She has a degree in Associates & Arts (AA in 1999), Small Animal Massage Practitioner (SAMP in 2007), and Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT in 2003).

Kellie loves hanging out with her husband and 2 daughters, and photography.  Her pets include 2 Dobermans and a cat.

Why do I want to work at a veterinary clinic?
"I think one of the obvious reasons I wanted to become an RVT is to help animals.  What I have learned through my 16 years in this field is that I not only love helping animals, but I love helping people."

Jenni Baxter, Receptionist

Jenni joined the Advanced Care staff in June 2008. 

Jenni enjoys quilting, playing online games with her husband and kids, playing with their dogs and hanging out with family.  Her pets include 2 cats (Danali & Annie), and 2 dogs (Kida & Bailey).

Why do I want to work at a veterinary clinic?
"I grew up on a dairy farm, so I've always spent a lot of time around animals.  I love working with animals, and this is a perfect place to help animal and the people who love them."

 

Danna Christensen, Veterinary Assistant

Danna joined the Advanced Care staff in June 2005.  She is a 2005 graduate from Pima Medical Institute with a certification as a Veterinary Assistant.

Danna enjoys outside activities, going for nature walks with her husband and daughter, and reading.  She is very interested in veterinary dentistry and hopes to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the near future.

Why do I want to work at a veterinary clinic?
"I knew that I needed to find a career that was meaningful, and becoming part of a team  dedicated to helping animals was, and is, perfect for me."

 

 

Lisa Counterman, Manager, Bookkeeper & Licensed Veterinary Technician

Lisa joined the Stanwood clinic in  1983, and currently works out of the Stanwood and Smokey Point offices.  She has a certification as a Licensed Veterinary Technician and the Veterinary Reserve Corp.

Lisa spends her free time with family activities, gardening, skiing, and camping.  Her pets include 1 dog (Reggie), 2 cats and a fish.

Melissa Givler, Veterinary Assistant

Melissa joined joined the Advanced Care staff in August 2005 after serving an internship with us.
She graduated from the PIMA Medical Institute in August 2005. She can be seen helping out at the front desk as well as assisting in back. She especially enjoys helping the doctor with surgical and dental procedures.

Melissa enjoys spending time with family, shopping, crafting, fishing, snowmobiling and riding quads.  Here pets include 3 dogs (Josi, Hasley & Stausie) and 4 cats (Mama, Boo, Norton & Griffen)

"I've always had a special connection with animals.  I love working with people and pets, so this is a great place for me."

Cathe Dunne-Mott, Receptionist

Cathe joined the Advanced Care staff in February 2006.  She brings with her many skills acquired while working for the Arlington School District for the past several years.

Cathe enjoys playing with her grandson, being with her own kids, taking care of her animals, and raising money to help animals and people.  Her pets include 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 horses and a dove.

Why do I want to work at a veterinary clinic?
"I love animals and people.  This is the best world, and I had a dream to work with animals.  Now that I have grown up, I am living my dream."

Pam McCoy, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Pam joined the Advanced Care staff in February, 2000. As well as being a Licensed Veterinary Technician, she also is a Certified Veterinary Dental Technician.  She is a 1978 graduate from Fullerton College with a degree in Animal Science.

Pam is interested in canine and feline dentistry, avian and exotic medicine.  She enjoys riding and showing horses, beading, and spending time with family.  Her pets include one horse (Beejay), one King Charles Cavalier (Ginger), and one cat (B.C.)

Why do I want to work at a veterinary clinic?
"Originally I wanted to work in equine surgery, but decided that small animal practice was more suitable."

Valya Moser, Veterinary Assistant

Valya joined the Advanced Care staff in June 2005.  She has a Certificate in Veterinary Assistance from Bellingham Technical College. She specializes in vaccine protocol (the importance of vaccinating young animals), nutrition, puppies & kittens, educating owners with training techniques for their new puppy or kitten. Outside of the work area, Valya enjoys softball, volleyball, camping and hiking.

Ashley Sadia, Veterinary Assistant

Ashley joined the Advanced Care staff in July 2007 after serving an internship with us.  She graduated from the PIMA Medical Institute in July 2007. She stays busy in back assisting the doctor and taking care of the patients that are in the hospital.

Ashley enjoys hiking, camping, scrapbooking and spending time with her family.  Her pets include 2 dogs (Suzy & Baily) and a cat (Sam)

Debbie Young, Receptionist

Debbie joined our staff in March 2008. She has extensive experience as a veterinary receptionist having worked in this capacity for the past 8 years. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading, hiking and arts and crafts.
